Simple application mtouch with 16f887 ?
PostPosted: Sun Dec 30, 2012 1:46 am     Reply with quote

Hi all,
I'm very confuse about mtouch function on PIC 16F887. Although reading many document from microchip, I'm not successful.
Base on my knowledge, 16F887 support mtouch function, but when I find out about how to use mtouch function, I cannot find any simple sample code mtouch with 16f887. So now, somebody can help me to build a simple application mtouch (just each touch, toggle LED signal).
Is there any CCS library for mtouch 16f887 (like touchpad(), touch_hit() ...) Question
It's very important with me, pls help me if you know or give me some working sample code
Many thanks to you ^^~ Wink

Have you looked in the manual?....
#USE TOUCHPAD.

However it requires a chip that has the CSM. I don't think the 887 has this.

Have a look at this thread:

This is CVD touch sensing, which can be done by any chip with an ADC, but will need you to tweak the timings, and decide what to use as a threshold.

Best Wishes
