Hello everybody!

Someone can tell me if there is any library that can do this?

Can someone help me?

Hi,

I haven't tried it, but the code in the link you provided looks pretty straight
forward! Why not just convert the Arduino code to CCS, and give it a try?

The first step is to create the 5 custom characters. Most character type
displays allow you to do this, and there are many examples in the forum
archives to do this!

Thank you John,

I wonder if there is something even ready. A library. And if it is possible to do using 4 lines of communication.

Any help is welcome!

thank you

Scott Edwards did it years ago....www.seetron.com...
Though written in Basic , it's very easy to 'port' over to CCS C and would be a nice addition to the 'library' forum.

and yes, quite 'doable' in 4bit mode.

yet another 'project' I haven't got around to doing....sigh

The document here (http://old.seetron.com/)gives a great tutorial on how
to generate large characters on an LCD. Once you get an LCD working
it should make the large characters easy.
