kbd_getc()-Getting After Releasing A Key

Hi,
Following things I used in circuit.

PIC16F886
4X3 Matrix Keypad.
16X2 LCD Module.
CCS C Version 4.105

I have connected matrix keypad to port B and LCD on port C. And used sample code of CCS C which just read the keypad and displays keypress on LCD. Here one thing I noticed, I got number on LCD after releasing a key. If I press any key and kept press so there is no number on LCD but as soon as I release key I got number on LCD.
But I want number on LCD as soon as I press any key, so how to do this? What changes required in kbd.c file.
