trouble comp. hex for pic12f629

Ok we're to start trying to program pic12f629 for Xbox 360 rf sync. The pic accepted the program but when I plugged it in didn't work. Then I found out .hex wasn't setup for 12f629, was for 16fxx, so I disassembled but can't seem to compile. Any thoughts ?

Well It ain't rocket science...
1) use the PIC the code was designed for....you didn't say (xxx)...

2) since you've disassembled the code, compare every line and PIC init/setup to see what's different...

3) You better confirm the code WILL work on a 629 and NOT just on the xxx PIC !!! Not all PICs are the same..
