I am thinking about upgrading my compiler but will I run in a lot of trouble when I want compile the 3.249 code in 4.132 and is the 4.132 stable?
The IDE seems very usefull to me, especially the documentation abilities, what are your experiences with this?
Thanks,
Bert

The last baseline release was 4.099 I think. 4.132 is still new. That said you can have both versions of the compiler if you like and can test between the two. I do this with 4.124 and the most recent rev since 4.124 is our internal baseline at work.
I actually was trying out the documentation generator last night and I honestly couldn't get it to work. I'm not sure if it is not working or if it is user error on my part yet, but following the instructions in the help files didn't seem to produce the correct results. Maybe someone here has had better luck with the document generator program though.

I had the same reservations but I've found 4.099 to be quite stable. I've since moved on to 4.132 (had to - it supported a K series processor I had to use but 4.099 doesn't) with no issues.

Thanks for your answers, I have ordered the compiler online.
