seems to say an essential FILE or path -- has gone missing on you

It can't find that file. Where is it ?

What is N: ? Is that a network drive ? Maybe ask your system administrator about it. Maybe some permission attribute was changed.

n:\ is my datadrive on my local PC so no network

It would have been better to leave your post and title as it was, and just
add the solution, so it would be in the archives for others.
