MPLAB Plugin integration problem
PostPosted: Tue Dec 20, 2011 7:35 pm     Reply with quote

MPLAB v8.83 with the latest PCH command line version. Win XP home.

Compiler works from a DOS prompt window and the tool location setting is exactly where it is: C:\Program Files\PICCcommandLine\Ccsc.exe

When I run Make (F10), the "CCS error" window that begins with "The CCS Compiler is not installed on this computer...." pops up.

From that 2003 thread, I got this:

I had a similar problem, ending up reinstalling mplab and ccs to no avail. I contacted ccs - the solution is to check and ensure that you have all the .crg files in the same folder as the ccsc.exe.

In my case, the pch.crg file is already in the same folder as ccsc.exe, so something else must be wrong.

Thanks.

Try to install CCS in the default directory, which is:
Quote:

c:\Program Files\PICC\

Do everything according to the default method:
