Delay problem in LCD

Hi i write a program for lcd in ISIS. When i use XT(clock=4000000) and delay_ms(x) values there is no problem lcd works correctly but when i change the clock 20000000 and same delay_ms(x) value lcd doesnt work. I use lcd.c file and PIC18f4550 i didnt understand the problem. Could you please help me?

How do you know the problem is not with the simulator? Many times
we find this is the case.
