Fastrax IT300 Interfacing

Hi all,
I found and old GPS module with a wireless CPU from Sierra and IT300 GPS module from fastrax. The two are communicating through either GPIO or UART but I have no mean to know, but I download well my embedded app on the wireless CPU. My problem is does somebody know the synopticc of IT300 of fastrax? When I launch my embedded app, the whole card is working but the GPS module seem to be turned OFF. I will appreciated if some can tell me if there is something like a command to send over GPIO before BOOTING the GPS module.
