PostPosted: Fri Dec 24, 2010 12:29 pm     Reply with quote

Someone please help me. I am using the CCCS PIC C compiler 4.110 but when I am using it the Help index does not work. It shows this message: "Cannot open the file:C:\Programfiles\PICC\Ccsc.chm." What is this? Please help. Due to this I can't open the built in function in the Help menu. Crying or Very sad

Have you checked the listed directory for that file ? It should have been installed with the compiler when you installed it in your system (just checked - that is there on my system). Did you perhaps install it into a different folder than the default (there may be a hard coded link - I used the default so I'm not sure on that issue).

You can also download the compiler manual .pdf file direct from CCS:
