IDE Toolbar Options - where are they stored
PostPosted: Mon Dec 20, 2010 11:10 am     Reply with quote

Hi;

My IDE (PCW Version 4.112) keeps 'forgetting' the toolbars that I define. Does anybody know where the toolbar data is stored?

Is it in the registry? If so what is the key name.

Is it in an ini file? If so what is the location of the file.

Any ideas on why the toolbars are not stored properly?

Regards

Jim

I don't know right off hand, but you might want to check this utility out if nobody else has the answer - I have used it in the past to track down where things were going and what registry keys were being modified.

Hi;

Thanks for the info on the tool.

I have been advised that the file

"C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Application Data\PICC"

[where USER is your user logon]

seems to hold most of the relevant data.

Regards

Jim
