built-in function
PostPosted: Wed Jul 28, 2010 12:46 am     Reply with quote

Hello everyone,

CCS offers many functions "built-in-function" I wonder if it is possible to access these functions to modify them to make further or simply to see how some are made.

I looked in C / PICC but I have not found.Question

Thank you in advance and sorry for the bad English.

You can't. CCS C Compiler is a commercial product used widely in the world of embedded applications since more than
15 years. If you want a compiler that enable you to modify the built in functions, try with an open source compiler.

Provided you can read ASM, you can call the functions you're interested in and compare the produced ASM files.

ok thank you for everything. I suspected that. I come every right to leave ua 8051 and I still need a little time to get used to integrated functions. Still I find it very interesting for development as we gain enormously time. Thank you again for your help.
