Trying to find a chip similar to DS1631?
PostPosted: Tue Jul 20, 2010 1:20 pm     Reply with quote

Trying to find a chip similar to DS1631? But I need for the recommended chip to accommodate temperatures up to 2000 degree F. I like the setup of the DS1631, software and otherwise.

I'm measuring temp at the exhaust manifold. I'm thinking about using K type thermal couples.

So my problem is to take the signal coming from the thermal couples, translating into temperature, then to some readable form, to be read/stored in a computer for display at later time.

thanks L.

Too bad they don't have one that covers a larger range....
