Replacement of fprintf function
PostPosted: Fri Jun 11, 2010 12:37 pm     Reply with quote

Hi all,

Is there a replacement of fprintf function? Because I have seemed to run out of rom space.

Or pin-compatible PIC with 16f628 which has more space? Smile

There is the 16F648a, which has twice the ROM as a 16F628.

@PCM programmer,

I've seen that you write your functions like getc, putc, etc..
Do you have printf or fprintf?

No I don't. If I did, the cost in ROM would be even greater than what
you now have. Read these posts about printf:

Printf is hard-coded at compile-time:
