Re: interrupt while using timer

Hi,

1) I am using PIC 16f877a. I need to count the transitions of the PIN_C0 from high to low within the particular delay time.

2) The purpose of this counting is, I am using two microcontrollers which are communicating with the PC. So i need to check the status of the RS232 whether it is receiving data from one microcontroller or not. So that i can start transmit while other is in free. So i am getting the status of the RXD pin to the PIN_C0.

Is there any other way to achieve this objective ? please tell me.
