I have pchl and pcml and have a common code I am compiling for different pic chips, a 16f877 and a 18f2420.
I would prefer to not to have to change my /etc/ccsc.ini every time and keep my compilers in different folders.
I would have figured that pch could compile for smaller chips but that does not seem to be the case. I can't seem to get my pchl to build my code for my 16x877 chip.
Does anyone have a suggestion on how I can make it easier to build for both chips and not have to keep tweaking config files or run different binaries.
PCM compiler version 4.081; 10/8/2008
PCH compiler version 4.095; 7/16/2009

You should state that these are the Linux compilers. Based on forum
responses, very few people are using these compilers.

I'd suggest that you write a couple of shell scripts.
Have two copies of the ini file with different names, and just have scripts called something like ccspch, and ccspcm, with each copying in the required file, and calling the compiler with the required variables....
