How to make LCD underline cursor to blink ?

Hi !

Can I make LCD underline cursor blink without turning cursor show bit on and off. Similar to example code:

Code:

void lcd_setcursor_vb(short visible, short blink)
{
  lcd_send_byte(0, 0xC|(visible<<1)|blink);
}


I want similar effect, instead of big cursor blinking I like to see smaller underline cursor blink .

If you refer to a HD44780 compatible LCD controller, you can't.
