USB 18F and HID class
PostPosted: Fri Dec 18, 2009 2:52 pm     Reply with quote

I have one simple device where I use ex_hid_usb.
The chip is 18F2455 and now I need to develop the program for Windows XP.
The connection is established and device is recognized as HID-compilable device.

If the device is found from the win XP side, what do I need to do to set this device as my HID device ?

I'm writing VB winXP application but I don't know how and where to search for HID device, so I can connect with my PC program on it.

Consult the CCS "HIDDemo Source" (included in the USB package downloadable from the software
update page) or HID PC software examples from Microchip.
