a question about usage of lcd_putc

printf(lcd_putc,"%d",x);


Is it correct to define as "%d" a byte value?

I'm pretty sure the CCS compiler treats byte the same as int, so this will work but your byte value will be displayed as a signed int because your are using the %d as opposed to %u.
