random numbers in PIC C
PostPosted: Wed Nov 18, 2009 2:23 pm     Reply with quote

Hi all,
I try to generate a random number by using srand() and rand() functions but I don't know what is the good seed argument for the function srand(). In Visual C we have API function getTickCount(), do we have any similar function? Or how can I generate a random number?

Thanks

See this thread. It has links to threads which talk about how to
get a seed for srand().
