ADC function
PostPosted: Thu Nov 12, 2009 10:51 am     Reply with quote

Hi, I want to use this ADC function on a PIR sensor. This sensor is simple, it works with 5v but when detects a motion it going down to 0v or 1v, I want to put up a led when this motion is detected. How can I do this? Please help me. Thanks.

P.S. I don't know what to use or what is better...the ADC or Low Volt Detect function. Please help me.

Ok first things first. You didn't provide us with information what PIC you are using, the code you done so far and the compiler version that you are using.

Reading ADC is relatively simple. But for your purposes you could use comparator, if you just want to detect when voltage from sensor is below or above some level.

And the last thing ... why do you need to open two topics for the same question? Rolling Eyes
