AT commands on PIC' LCD

Hi there. Please I would like how to put the simple at command called "AT" for the very first time. All the things that I need to need just to put "AT", press enter and consecutively see the "OK" answer on LCD(lcd_putc()). Please I tried with several of commands and I failed!!!
That simple as that!!!!!

Post the manufacturer and model number of your modem. Post a link
to the website that has documentation for the modem.
