Software emulation of serial port

Hello 2 all ! I have the following question: Is there a way to create a software serial port for a pic that doesn't have this possibility ? I would need this for a PIC16F84A because this is the only one available to me at this time. I've searched the forum but I couldn't find a suitable answer. Thank you 4 your time !
