USB driver installation, cdc_NTXPVista.inf
PostPosted: Thu Sep 10, 2009 3:42 am     Reply with quote

Hi!

Im working on a project which is using the CCS CDC demo to emulate a rs232-port. Does anyone know if it's possible to automatically install the driver for the device so that I dont manually have to use the Add hardware wizard to tell windows which .inf-file to use? (im running Windows XP)
Now I have to install the .inf-file for every USB-port manually using the wizard. It would be good if windows could identify which driver to use by regardless of what USB-port my device is connected to. Is this possible?

Thanks.
