a SPI DAC chip and using ICD3
PostPosted: Tue Jun 09, 2009 6:58 pm     Reply with quote

Hi
I am trying to use serial DAC with my PIC. I am using ICD3 to power it and debug it.
When I try to do that, however, an error occurs stating that the device code does not match.
If I program(using debugging mode), after taking out the DAC IC, the programming works but if I plug the DAC back in, and try to run, I get an error message.
Anyone have the same problem?

Hi,

It sounds like you have PGC or PGD connected to the DAC which is getting in the way of the ICD 'speaking' to the processor.
