Send a serial Break command
PostPosted: Tue May 26, 2009 10:31 am     Reply with quote

anyone know how to send a serial Break command in CCS?

I can do it by tying C5 to C6 pulling C5 low then floating it again but was wondering if there is a way to toggle C6 while it's in use by the UART
using a 16f877
20meg
max232

Thanks.

See Ttelmah's proposed solution in this thread. Note the addtional
comments after it, which modify it a little.
