trouble printing...
PostPosted: Wed May 20, 2009 9:09 am     Reply with quote

I am running PCWH Version 4.092.

I have an HP P1006 USB printer turned on before running the PCWH. After I complete a compilation and want to get a printout, I select the Print from PCWH but nothing is printed. It doesn't go into the queue... nothing. I can go into Print Preview and select Print from there. At least it brings up the Windows printer selection dialog. I can select the P1006 and it appears to go out but nothing reaches the printer.

The printer works fine when printing from all other applications... just not from PCWH.

Has anyone seen this happen before?

Try another printer (not an HP). Try it on another version of Windows.
(You didn't say which one you're using). Try it on another PC.
This would give you some clues as to what's causing the problem.

I can get output to another printer correctly. It's really weird! This printer works fine from all other programs, just not the PCWH environment.

I will probably go to the HP site and look for a newer driver, also.

Thanks.
