I'm using ccs compiler version 4
Now I'm unable to find a header file for 16F882 in the devices directory. Where can i download this from and how? Is there a way to manually override this?

Cheers,
Pracas

if you don't have the requested header either you are using the demo or your version is too old and does not support that chip. We cannot send you the .H file for two reasons:
1. It wouldn't work if your version compiler doesn't support the chip.
2. It would be a violation of the CCS license requirements.

Asking for the file on this board is a violation of the forum rules and this thread will likely be locked or deleted entirely by the moderator.

Do you have the header file for a 16F883 or 16F886? I believe those are the same chip, just with more memory. Check the data sheet.
