Hi all,

I am using pic24fj16ga002 for my project and I want to use irda encoder and decoder option. My code is:

#use rs232(UART1,BAUD=19200, STREAM=PC1)
#USE RS232(UART2,BAUD=19200, STREAM=PC)

But I don't know how to enable irda option. Data sheet says IREN=1 but but how I will define this? Does anyone has example code or idea about this?

Define it straightforward according to the SFR address in the datasheet, e.g.

#bit U1_IREN = 0x221.4
....
U1_IREN = 1;
