Communication problem between LCD and 16f877a

Hi all,

I need to connect HITACHI HD4480A LCD to 16F877A micro controller.
I Still couldn't figure out how to write a sample code to display some text data on the LCD panel. Here it is needed to set LCD enable pin, RS pin, R/W pin, LCD data port addresses and tris addresses.

So please be kind enough to guide me on the correct path. So if anyone of you can suggest a sample code for my problem. it would be a great help for me.

So any help regarding my matters is highly appreciated.
