I'm new to CCS. June 2008 manual indicates multiple compilation units are demonstrated in MCV.ZIP but I havent been able to find it.
I'm used to mcc18 where makefile functionality is transparent and I am used to breaking up project into 'object' like modules. I'll re-learn the art of makefiles if I can find out the necessary keywords and syntax used by CCS. _________________ Pc

Open a Dos box and go to the examples directory. Do a dir *.zip.
You will quickly find: MCU.zip

I'm guessing your directing me to a folder that was loaded when the compiler was installed (I'm on WinXP). I'll check if it exists when I get on my work computer. I was expecting to be able to download from CCS site but havent a clue how I could do that via a DOS box.
Thanks for the reply

CCS didn't include mcu.zip until version 4.033. I have version 4.018 where the maintenance has expired and so I can't update to a later version. Can someone post the mcu.zip file? It would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think that is allowed. Contact CCS support for the file.
