get_string not working

Hi, as in subject get_string function available in driver ccs folder not working since an error during compiling time occured on getc putc with comment unidentifier..
There is a new version of driver library?

You must have a #use rs232() statement. Get_string() calls functions
in that library code.

Yes, I have

#use rs232(UART1,baud=2400,parity=N,bits=8,stop=1)

but I do know why I have error from compiler for getc

Post a very short test program that has an #include, #fuses, #use delay,
#use rs232, a main(). Use this code for your main:
Code:

void main()
{
char c;

c = getc();

while(1);
}

Compile it. See if you get the error message. If so, post the program.
Also post your compiler version.
