If you're simply looking for somebody to give you code so you can get credit on your school project, it's not going to happen here. We like to help people resolve problems and issues with their software/hardware but only when they're willing to put some effort into it first. It seems like you're just wanting a free handout.
You stated that you're not good at programming. Well, the best way to change that is to actually write some code and fight your way through it so you can LEARN how to become good at it. THAT's the reason you are IN school. To learn!
You'll find the good folks that frequent this forum are very willing to help out. But, if you're just looking for some freebies without any effort of your own, you're out of luck.
Since this is your final year you should be able to some something on your own or else it's been a waste of your time. I hate to preach but school is for LEARNING, not just sliding through on somebody else's efforts. Personally, I've not studied modbus yet but it's one that I'm interested in learning. When I do, I'll get out my hardware, wire some stuff up, write some code, bang my head on the computer monitor a few times (I still use a CRT so it won't hurt it like it would a LCD panel would) and THEN when I've become rather frustrated I would come here asking for suggestions from the good people here.
So, read up on modbus, experiment a bit, write some code and see what you can figure out. Then, come here and ask for help.
Best of luck.
