Encoder RPM and Frequency - quick one

The formula to find RPM is below:

RPM = ((F(Hz) * 60)/PPR)

Is there another way of finding the RPM without knowing the PPR???

Yes.

If the encoder has an index pulse.

Just see how often it sends an output.
