16bit programmer
PostPosted: Wed Dec 17, 2008 1:51 pm     Reply with quote

Hello to all

I wonder if I can program a 16bit PIC like dsPIC30F2011
with my 8bit programmer.

Now I'm programming all 8bit family.
I just connect 5 wires from my board to other
Vdd, Vss,Vpp,PGC,PGD and it's ready.

Can I do this, on 16bit???
(I don't see anywhere Vpp)!!!

I have CCS compiler, melabs and I connect it on parallel port.

You should look on the website for the programmer for that information.
They will have the list of supported devices. We don't have it.
