PBP >> C CONVERTS

Hello there C programmers,

I am a long-time user of PBP (4 years) to me thats long!
Anyway I have maxed out what can be done with PBP and 18F chipsets and now need to learn to use C again for some dsPICs at work.

I would like to know if there are any other recent PBP users now converts that could tell me some of the pros/cons of CCS compiler specifically the PCWHD?

Also learning curve for getting back into the C syntax?

Comparisons between PBP functions and CCS pre-built functions?
