Windows Xp update crashes CCS <resolved>
PostPosted: Wed Nov 12, 2008 3:16 am     Reply with quote

Hello,

This morning XP nagged me about update. So what the heck, decided to do so. After reboot computer CCS compiler does not start anymore. Yesterday, I've worked the whole day with the compiler. So I'm pretty sure that the update has to do something with it.

Error signature
AppName: pcw.exe AppVer: 4.81.8.16 ModName: kernel32.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.5512 Offset: 0000d0d7

Poeh... what next? Reinstall software ?

Be warned!

Regards,
Edwin

My project, 9000 lines involves about 33 modules (*.c and *.h). It seems that CCS has a hard time with opening them. Maybe something got twisted with updating windows. Anyway, after installation of 4.82 that does work, I reinstalled 4.81 and that now does work too.

So the warning is not valid anymore.

Regards,
Edwin
