pic and ethernet port
PostPosted: Fri Oct 10, 2008 2:33 am     Reply with quote

hello Very Happy

I'm interested in communicating to a pic via ethernet port,
and I want to ask some questions about this, if somebody can help me.

1. I have got ccs compiler and I did not find any function about ethernet
so, I must create myself the software?

2. I will do ADC some signals, the data that I will store to pic will be numbers.
Via ethernet port travelling numbers? or another code(ASCII )?

3. Where this data stored at pc?
If I want to see them how can I do this?
Data saved in a text file ?

thank you ...

You should buy the Embedded Ethernet Development Kit. This is the fastest way to get up to speed.
