CCD image sensor interface

am working on image processing using ccd sensor using 18 series MC

can anybody help me out in selecting suitable CCD image sensor and interfacing techniques plz

Hi,

It depends on what you want to do, still shots or TV type capture. Also what resolution, megapixels.

I have used a sensor from Omnivision for a particular application but there are many others.

My particular camera only needs to grab one frame and store it in ram, then output over a USB.

What are you wishing to do?

Of course we don't.
There are literally tens of thousands of different types of image sensor available. How are we expected to give you help without knowing which one?. Telepathy?.
