PostPosted: Fri Jun 27, 2008 12:57 am     Reply with quote

Hi all
I want get data from 2 ultrasonic modules. These module have 3 pins and send data with RS232. I want get data and process it with one microcontroller. How can I process 2 wire data with one microcontroller ? I use pic16F877. Do you have any idea about it ? Can I use hardware and software rs232 ? Or can I manage it with 2 transistors ?

thanks.

If you want help on a specific device, you must post the Manufacturer,
part number, and web page for it. We have no way to know what is
in your mind unless you tell us.

Under certain circumstances any of those options would work. The simplest might be to use two software UARTs on two streams. Tell us more about your application.
