18f4458 adc external voltage ref

hi i am trying to set up my pic 18f4458 to use external voltage reference

so do i need to connect vref- pin to gnd and vref+ pin to the output of my 4.096 precision reference and then set the adc up like this

Don't start a new thread for each additional question on using the ADC
in the 18f4458. Add new questions to your existing thread.
