Creating more headers, or Libs
PostPosted: Thu Jun 05, 2008 5:58 pm     Reply with quote

Hello. I want to create a little oscilloscope with my PIC16f877a. My approach is to send commands to the PIC. I'll put the commands in a header file and this same file will be used by the host program. How can I add more header files to an PCWHD project? (I'm with the demo version)

And...
Then I want to create a little library with functions like sendInt32() sentUShort(), sentU32()..., so how PCWHD must be configured for create libraries instead of programs?.

Bye!

The compiler does not support any other chips. From the Demo page:

Quote:
The demo is a limited PCWHD compiler for the Microchip
PIC®mcu's: 14-bit PIC16F877, 14-bit PIC16C554, 16-bit PIC18F458,
and all 24-bit dsPIC30/dsPIC33/PIC24 DSCs.

By "header file" I think you mean a .C or .H source file. If that's true,
then you can include them in your main source file with #include
statements.

If you are asking a question about "multiple compilation units" then
see this topic:
