ICD-S and PCW
PostPosted: Thu Jul 03, 2003 8:18 am     Reply with quote

I recently purchased the ICD-S20 (high speed serial version of ICD-S). I can get the icd.exe program to start by itself however I cannot get it to run from inside my copy of PCW.

So far I have found 2 problems.

1) If you leave the double quotation marks around the path and executable file name under Options | Debugger it cannot find the executable program.

2) Now that it is finding and starting ICD.EXE, it doesn't seem to be adding the correct path information with the -T\%H flags. I keep getting a message from ICD that it cannot find a file (it doesn't say what file so I'm just guessing it is the HEX file generated from my project).

Anybody else having this problem? I'm guessing I need to specify path information but I don't want to have to type that in every time I switch projects!

Did you install the software released last week? The copy you got in the mail is probably older.
