If I understood your question correctly, When you need a scope, only a scope will do the job
DO NOT buy the PC oscilloscopes that flood the market. They’re useless! |

I have a "Bitscope" DSO (www.bitscope.com). It works on my PC, MAC and Raspberry Pi and I find it an awesome indispensable tool for developing and debugging embedded systems.
Disclosure: Several years ago I developed the Ethernet interface hardware and associated software for Bitscope's Ethernet based DSO. Other than that and owning one of their Bitscopes, I am not associated with them in any way. _________________ Regards, Andrew
