ICD-U40 - USB issue

Hi all,

We are a small contract manufacturer and a novice when it comes to this. We have an issue where the PC will not recognize the ICD device. We receive the following error message:

"USB Device Not Recognized"
"One of the USB devices attached to this computer has"
"malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it."
"For assistance in solving this problem, click this message."

This occurs each time we attempt to plug in the device.
We have installed the new software and drivers from the ICD web page


Does anyone have an idea on what we can do to solve this? We have no IT dept so It's up to us part timers.
