Serial numbering
PostPosted: Fri Oct 03, 2008 9:24 am     Reply with quote

Hello all, first time poster and user.

I'm using the Load-n-Go programmer on a PIC18F6722 and I was wondering if the Serial Numbering feature is just for the ccsload software or will the Load-n-Go unit itself auto-increment a serial number.

If it will auto-increment the number, how would this be set up. I've set Addess 0x00 of the EEPROM for the number, I tell the ccsload software to auto-increment and use that location and give it a starting number of 1. When the .hex file is loaded into the programmer, I get an error upon verification that 2 = 1 or something to that effect.

Thank you in advance.
