ICD-U64 Issues
PostPosted: Tue May 12, 2009 1:52 pm     Reply with quote

First I have code compiled with Microchips compiler for both a dsPic and Pic24 processors. When this code is pointed to in ccsload I get a file status of "Corrupt". Does ccsload only work with code compiled with CCS compilers?

Second when I attempt to connect to the dsPic processor via the "Device" tab in ccsload by pressing the "Test" button I get a "Target Failed" message. More specifically I get a message stating "Chip not detected, ID=0181" what does this mean? I am trying to power the board with the ICD and have put the appropriate jumper in the ICD box.

Also, I know the board is good as I've successfully programmed and tested the board via a Microchip ICD2 device. What I am trying to accomplish is to have a cheaper solution for production to program these boards. Thanks in advance.
