GM862 transmit buttons during voice call
PostPosted: Wed Mar 12, 2008 12:26 pm     Reply with quote

Hello,
I'm trying to set something up where I can call my GM862 and press 1 to do one thing and press 2 to do another. Is it possible to check to see if any buttons are pressed during a phone call?

Thanks!

Hi,

It's entirely possible to do something like this, but you'll need to connect a DTMF receiver to the audio out of the cellular module. A popular choice is the MT8870 for this purpose.

Good Luck!

John
