Target for ICD-U40 running at 5.4V |

Our target is running at Vdd of 5.4V (for a variety of reasons). I've noticed that the ICD-U40 causes the circuit to draw a larger supply current than normal (~20mA extra) as compared to another target that runs at 3.6V.
Since I lack the wiring diagram for the ICD-U40, I'm wondering if this is due to diode leakage to the ICD's 5.0V supply (or some other signal line). And of, course, whether this might cause damage to the ICD.
Can anyone tell me whether this is an issue? Will I burn out the ICD? |
