Can't change the ICD firmware
PostPosted: Mon Mar 26, 2007 1:46 pm     Reply with quote

v2.05 (as well as v2.03, which probably came with the ICD) refuses to install. Here are my steps:

1. Saved the icd-images-firmware-02-05.fw file you've send me to C:\Program Files\picc
2. ICD control program v2.73
3. Clicked "Update ICD firmware"
4. In the firmware selection dialog picked "Other (advanced)"
5. Supplied the path to the firmware file C:\Program Files\PICC\icd-images-firmware-02-05.fw
6. Clicked OK
7. A small dialog pops up. It has a "Firmware type" drop-down list and OK/Cancel. The "Firmware type" list is empty.
8. Clicked OK
9. Error message pops up saying "List index out of bounds (-1)"

Did anyone else see this problem? The firmware upgrade procedure used to work for me in the past. Could this be a bug in a newer version of the ICD software?
